Until Roxanne will be the 20th figurine Creator's Yamato Lab (scheduled for release in August 2009) of Shunya Yamashita, do you want, here on ... Shadonia! Rosanna is a figurine that I wanted for a while and I waited patiently for a good opportunity, because it had become difficult to find at reasonable prices. It was, however, output in 2007, but wake up 2 years later, sometimes fatal. So my 2nd figurine inspired by an artwork of Shunya Yamashita (the first being of the Shuraki Needa Schuetlich), and my 1st published figure by Movic: - Shunya Yamashita ... buxom, costume atypical: we like or we ' not love. - Movic and ... the first time I was "confronted" with Movic was when I watched the VHS of Neon Genesis Evangelion just before 2000 * remembers * Movic specializes in merchandising d 'animes. The box Rosanna ... on many sites, it appears with a different name, sometimes with an N instead of two, sometimes with a Z instead of S: Rosana, Rozana, Rozanna ... having the box in the hands m 'has to be sure. The box includes a unique front window. The colors are dyed in a "rock", which is a little "western". The box also lists the reasons "arabesque" present on the clothing of the figure. The front panel includes an illustration of SY, and back a picture of the prototype of the figure with text in Japanese.

The base is a translucent base elliptical keyed: 2 mounting studs have various diameters (same for the "hexagonal holes" in the boots of Rosa). The figure can stand without the base, but it ' is not very "safe", especially since the base is translucent and is less conspicuous than an opaque base and can "see through"

For example, the "corset" red and white (in quotes because it is not at all a corset) leaves the bare navel with the red cloth that ends with a circular shape and the white cover still hips. The range also includes gloves (very) long and matching leggings. For me, it is possible to recycle jeans and convert to shorts when there was a hole in the knee ... and indeed, SY imagined the contrary: it has just recovered his legs and removed my shorts ... These leggings flares' are, like gloves, purple with gold patterns (taken to decorate the box). They are open on the inside which reveals the black boots.

The installation The installation is original: Rosanna behind his arm leaving only her beautiful green eyes. One has the impression that it stretches ... perhaps preparing to take the sword with both hands. In the illustration the mouth and eyes are clearly visible: light sensual, luscious lips. The figure makes it worse. Indeed, his right arm is closer to his head, hiding his mouth. You really have a dip angle of view to see the mouth of the figurine. This is unfortunate because the proto let us better see her mouth. On the other hand, the pattern drawn on the lips of the figure recalls a smile while the artwork of SY, not quite a smile. I think the term differs but despite this, the mouth is sculpted painted.

His left eye is on the artwork of SY hidden by her bangs. In the figure, it is a very visible figure watching from the side. I have been able to verify that was not squinting Rosanna Rosanna holds in his left hand a sword in special form (Yamashita touch). It has a translucent strip embedded in a support secured to the handle. This weapon is in the grip by hand. This is possible because it is very slight.

Finishes The overall quality is quite fair: some paintings drool a bit, gradients of color are not evident. I'm a bit difficult because I have action figures produced by Alter, which are top-level finishes. Scale 1 / 7 (relatively large) can compensate for this deficiency. Especially if you collect figurines PVC inspired illustrations SY, most are at scale 1 / 7: it enables to standardize the collection. Besides, I found "scale 1 / 7" on a commercial site, but sometimes I ask myself the question if it's not 1 / 6, because the figure is really impressive.

Notice The personal interest of this model is well understood that it resumes the design defined by Shunya Yamashita: I think Shunya has managed to bring the sensual side in exposing certain body parts, with a strong interest in costume design. I think it is more subtle to implement this kind of thing rather than making a miniature cast-off wearing a suit with "normal": a big thank you to Yamashita. Also in the same style, there Cocona the same editor that I found pretty ... but my preference is for The Rosa upgrade to PVC is quite successful except that the arms cache lips. The finish is not the Alter, but it's still acceptable. Ultimately, it is a figure who can charm the fans of Yamashita and lovers of beautiful forms.
